Псевдоним Теренса Грея «Вэй У Вэй» происходит от важнейшей категории даосской философии (позднее воспринятой и китайским буддизмом и множеством направлений боевых искусств, в частности в особой, оригинальной форме айкидо, в принципе «использования энергии противника и среды», в данном случае (айкидо) это подобно постановке шахматной задачи «кооперативного мата» или принципу действия электронного вакуумного триода или в некотором смысле принципу стратегии: «ваша ошибки, мои преимущества», «использовать течение (вещей) (дао) в свою пользу»): «действовать бездействием», «действовать не [противо-]действием». У-вей, увей, увэй, - «не-деяние», «не-противодействие (увэй) естественному (спонтанному, самопроизвольному, натуральному, неискусственному) ходу вещей (дао), согласному (гармоничному) с их природой, естественным порядком, ладом, гармонией».

"Being 'lived' as a non-entity, is subjective living, in which suffering is no longer, in which there is no place for care and worry, in which everything is as-it-is and as it must be. For it is 'intention' that is responsible for dualistic conception and the ensuing comparison of inter-dependent counterparts, seen as opposites, one of which is 'good' and the other 'bad'."
There are two suggestions that a man rarely seems willing to face: (i) that he himself does not exist as such, as a separate individual and, (ii) that he cannot, by divine right, do anything he wishes to do, as and whenever he wishes to do it. He finds this suggestion unbearable, yet individuality and freedom of choice are patently incompatible with any satisfactory explanation of the universe, and are unacceptable in an esoteric interpretation of any religion worthy of the name.
In this short work, Wei Wu Wei uncompromisingly destroys the remaining vestiges of that-which-we-are-not, in the hope of promoting an insight that will reveal to us this-which-we-are.

Английский текст скачал почитаю, хотя английский 50х сильно отличается он того который я знаю :)
Дугласа Хардинга я читал с огромным трудом.
Да, WWW друг Дугласа Хардинга, мне они напоминают еще двух английских друзей (которые были знакомы с этими кстати) К С Льюис (он писал отзыв про книгу Хардинга) и Дж Р Р Толкиен.
Короче ндравятся мне англичане чорт побери :) (еще Честертон из более старших, Натан Джил из новых).
Они знают толк в духовности. Кстати у Честертона (и у Льюиса) есть предостережения (У Честертона не помню у Льюиса в Хрониках) по поводу ислама которые сбываются.
